Jordan Watton
Jordan’s work is marked by striking cinematic visuals and emotionally-charged storytelling. Over the past 5 years, he has been busy honing his skills and cinematic style across a multitude of impressive work. In 2020, his feature film “Local Hero Saves Family” won Pitch: Isolation, an AACTA development initiative. And in 2025, Jordan completed his short film “Feral”, which is now on the festival circuit.
As a commercial director, Jordan has worked with clients such as Singapore Airlines, Louis Vuitton, Specsavers, Australia Post and Afterpay. His work balances creativity and pragmatism - combining an elevated execution with a resourceful filmmaking approach and a strong understanding of brand messaging.
Jordan is an Aboriginal filmmaker of the Kamilaroi nation. In 2022, he directed “History Is Calling”, the inaugural campaign for the Uluru Statement from the Heart. He has since contributed culturally-focused work for the Yes campaign and the Fred Hollows Foundation, among others.
